Planning Your Visit to Smiles of Faith

We're here to make your dental care experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Understanding what to expect can help you prepare for your visit with us.

What Type of Visit Do You Need?

We offer two types of dental visits to best serve your needs.

What to Expect at Your First Comprehensive Care Visit: A Timeline

This visit is ideal for new patients or those seeking a thorough dental check-up and treatment plan.

Includes

A full set of dental x-rays, a complete examination by our licensed dentist, the creation of a personalized dental treatment plan, and scheduling for any additional procedures needed such as fillings, extractions, cleanings, and more.

How to Schedule

New patients seeking a Comprehensive Care Visit must complete an appointment request packet. Once submitted and reviewed, our team will contact you to schedule your appointment.

Here’s a general idea of what will happen:

1

Welcome & Paperwork Review: Our friendly team will greet you and ensure all your necessary paperwork is complete.

2

Dental X-Rays: Our dental assistants will take a full set of digital X-rays. These images are crucial for our dentist to get a clear picture of your oral health.

3

Comprehensive Examination: You'll meet with our licensed dentist who will:

  • Review your dental and medical history.
  • Discuss any concerns or specific problems you might be experiencing.
  • Perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and mouth.
4

Treatment Plan Discussion: Based on the X-rays and examination, the dentist will discuss their findings with you and propose a personalized treatment plan. This plan will outline any recommended procedures.

5

Q&A: This is your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your oral health or the recommended treatments. We want you to be fully informed and comfortable with your care.

6

Scheduling Follow-Up Appointments: If further procedures are needed (like fillings, extractions, or deep cleanings), our Patient Care Coordinator will work with you to schedule these follow-up appointments. Preventive care, such as regular cleanings and fluoride treatments, will also be scheduled as needed.

Emergency Visit

This visit is primarily for patients experiencing acute dental pain or a specific urgent dental issue.

Includes

Evaluation and treatment focused on one problem tooth that is causing the most pain. You will receive an x-ray of the symptomatic tooth, and our team will make every effort to treat the problem area and resolve your pain during this visit.
